When you start the task, you will see the IELTS Writing Task 2 question. Your 40 minutes begins immediately. Read the question carefully and then write your answer. You must write at least 250 words.

It is helpful to plan your answer before you begin writing. This must be done within the 40 minutes. You might need a pen and paper to help you plan.

Don't forget to edit your writing before the 40 minutes is up. Look for the types of mistakes you have made before. Check your grammar etc.

You can only make one attempt at this writing task. Once you have finished, you cannot start again or edit your writing.
